Role mentions in meeting notes
Chronote notes can now mention server roles, not just individual members, so work assigned to a group reads as that group.
What changed
- Notes mention a role when the transcript assigns work to a team rather than to one person.
- Member and role mentions can appear anywhere in the notes, not only in action item sections.
- Chronote only mentions roles that exist in your server, and never produces an
@everyoneor@heremention. Mentions are checked against your server's members and roles before notes are saved. - The web portal, shared links, Notion exports, and Markdown exports now show role mentions as readable role names.
- Notion exports previously showed raw member ids in place of mentions. They now show readable names.
What did not change
Mentions in meeting notes remain display-only. Discord does not notify anyone for mentions inside an embed, so posting notes never pings a member or a role.
